Gill’s approach was professional and the courses were extremely well received, despite some resistance from a minority to the introduction of risk management. Gill was able to adapt her delivery to participants at different levels and lent credibility to the risk management programme through her wide experience of risk management in a range of organisations. She was flexible and provided helpful advice in adapting the programme to meet our requirements. She has subsequently supported the follow-up and had additional involvement in an external audit role of parts of our risk management process, including the Strategic Risk Register and the Internal Audit’s Risk Log.
